They explored cooperation between the UAE and Germany and discussed how to further strengthen ties across various sectors, particularly in the economic and trade areas, to advance their shared vision and mutual interests as part of the bilateral strategic partnership.

Furthermore, His Highness and the German President reviewed key regional and international issues with a focus on initiatives to expedite the delivery of substantial and unimpeded relief to the Gaza Strip and ensure it is done urgently and safely.

The two leaders also discussed UAE efforts to mobilise support for the Amalthea maritime corridor initiative in successfully delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the importance of enhancing the initiative, which is key to ongoing efforts to increase humanitarian aid flows to Gaza through all available means, including by air, land, and sea.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed affirmed the UAE’s keenness to continue cooperation and coordination with international partners to alleviate the suffering of the Gazan people and bolster humanitarian support.

His Highness emphasised the need for serious and effective international action to protect civilians in Gaza and end their suffering while intensifying efforts to promote a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the Middle East based on the two-state solution to enhance regional security and stability.
